Pre-adjudication means that this particular case can be approved because everything else (Biometrics, Name-checks and all other checks/documentation) is in place - but a Visa Number is not available to approve case and issue GC

Now can the company SELL this Labor certification? Can another company BUY such a Certification? I have heard a lot on this site about LC substituion and how they are sold/bought at a premium. How does all that work. Is that even possible?

They all do a great job of Java programming that you need your prospective employee to do. How do you decide which one to hire?

To your other question... no you cannot transfer approved labor to other company... so if you want to be in this business of labor subs, you have to go through the pains of labor before being able to sell one...

They couldn't do earlier because dates weren't current.. Now dates are current and they can approve all those pending application who were just waiting for visa number to assign..
I don't think that they will APPROVE 40,000 appplications in a week. Well they were unable to do so in an year, how come in a week or two.

This incident has nothing to do with India. It just happened that SRK was from India.
After 9/11 we all know security measures are tight and rightly so.
For them it does not matter if it is
1. SR Khan who works in movies or
2. XYZ Khan who is a computer programmer or a cab driver.
If the name flashes in the computers they do the required checks.
Do you feel people with Muslim sounding names are targeted more?
No wonder, it is likely. DO NOT Blame USA TSA for that. Blame Osama Bin Laden for putting innocent Muslims through this.

Not even a single incident happened on american soil after 9/11 and credit for this goes to EFFECTIVE security system in place and this will stay in place because no body will interefere on this

These days i'm driving back from work instead of taking the Train/subway because my client location changed and i built this habit of listening to
Talk radio by guys like Howie Carr , Michael Savage etc.. ( WRKO 680 at Boston) and they really influence Public decision....
They were beating the s*** out of Bush, Ted kennedy because of CIR ( atleast verbally ) and calls after calls were coming from local american Public...
But our story may not be very interesting for Locals - so talk radio probably won't take it up as a Topic ???
It depends on how you put the issue across to the talk show host/american public. If you say how you want a green card, high skilled, legal immigrants, etc., then general junta is going to club it all into the "immigration issue" and our voice will be lost.
However, if you put yourself across as someone who got the shaft by the government, victim of mismanagement of govt. agencies, and possible msiconduct, then people are likely to listen. This is because American citizenry is very particular about where their tax dollars are going, and if they don't find transparency in government functions, they will demand explanations.

My uncle was a green card holder for approx. 40 years when he lived and worked in the US. During this time, he became eligible for medicare and medicaid. A few years ago he decided to return to his original home country. As he did not and does not have any plans to return to the US to live, he surrendered his green card at the US consulate. However, when he recently applied for a non-immigrant visa to visit the US to use the services covered by medicare, he was denied a visa. It seems quite unfair that he worked in the US, paid all the necessary taxes and withholdings and is now prevented in using the medicare services. Is there anything he can do?

2. As for the new job, would getting a new job on contract (possibly a 12 month contract with a Fortune 50 company) be a problem? I was under the impression that one needs full time employment but wanted to clarify since the contracting vendor is willing to hire me for the 12 month term on W2 and was wondering if that would be sufficient. What kind of Employment Verification Letter may I have to produce incase I get an RFE for the same during this time period.
I would really appreciate your input. Thanks!

your views are correct and analysis looks o.k. too the problem is even the genuine ones get flushed away ..survival of the fittest is not working now at all !!! say a person from worldwide comes in eb3 and say he is just a car mechanic (I know few from south korea who are in this situation) ..they get GC faster than Indian / Chinese EB2 / EB3 applicant (with 10 years experience and good bank balance)
and Karma means ..do your work / duty and don't worry about results ..we need that ..i.e SEVERAL SMALL Campaigns (since big is not possible now due to members leaving IV / getting dejected that nothing is happening etc etc
let us not analyze and discuss too much ..we talk a lot and hence the karma that we get is more talk from so called Experts ..lets do numerous small campaigns ..at the very least people will start coming back to IV plus new memberships

I am a patriotic Indian. Why the hell cant this Khan guy go through the same ordeal as an ordinary Indian or any other passenger. Why all the fuss? Is he god??? I am already a HOMEOWNER but I think this bill is good for all as those who buy new homes move out of the line & we move quicker. Congress works in strange ways & if the core thinks this is the best way to get around it & including current homeowners will be a dealbreaker I am for it....Lets support what we can get.
