Here is what my attorney recommended-
1. Get a "Non-Available Certificate" from the municipality
2. Get 2 people to provide affidavit (close relatives) in support of your birth date.
Hope this is helpful. Check with your attorney too.
Really appreciate your time in answering my question.

I was checking my app status online and got this message in bold, red color -
"It was reported to us that your IP address or internet gateway has been locked out for a select period of time. This is due to an unusually high rate of use. In order to avoid this issue please take this opportunity to create a Customer account (single applicant) or a Representative account (representing many individuals, such as lawyers, charitable groups, or corporations). Each account allows you to generate a Portfolio of receipt numbers. Building a portfolio containing your receipt number(s) eliminates your need to manually enter the receipt number and extract each case status. You will automatically be emailed changes to each case as updates occur. This email notification will occur within 12 to 24 hours of any progress made for every receipt number contained in your portfolio. There is no lockout feature associated with your portfolio and there is no wasted time on your part checking a receipt number where no advancement has been made.
"
What the heck was that? They have some serious bandwidth issues do they?

Filed for renewal on 04/05 and still waiting for receipts. Current EAD expires last week of July and am running the risk of losing my job if I don't get it by then.
Does anyone know what are my chances of getting it before then? Also, what are my other options at this point or before I lose my job. I read about interim EAD's on other posts, is this still an option?
Your response is highly appreciated.
Sincerely.

So are we ready to create a group of 20-30 people who will schedule appts with their lawmakers and discuss overall IV provisions along with support for this specific bill?? Hundreds of such bills are introduced every year in Congress (this specific bill has been introduced several times in the past)..so we need to truly understand whether there is any appetite for lawmakers to vote for it..instead of re-assuring ourselves that this bill will somehow help us.
My lawmaker appt is on Feb 3rd. We need a structured approach with a proper group whose members follow up with each other and keep updates from lawmaker meetings. Not random posts on this thread, once in a while, that "I sent spam mails to all my senators..(mails that they will never read)". Lawmakers receive hundreds of emails everyday.
we need to create a grassroots rapport with lawmakers.
Appepite for lawmakers to vote can only be known when this bill moves forward. This time with Republican in majority I think it has better chances than earlier.
This bill has been referred to the House Committee on the Judiciary and which will refer it to Immigration subcommittee . I dont know the steps involved after that. However we can contact these committee members (112th congress committee members yet to be selected) and keep this bill in the forefront and not lost with hundreds of ther bills.
I guess we should be ready to make a Team of 10-15 people and keep our efforts directed.

(1) How do I arrive at my hotel / place of stay in the DC metro area (VA/MD/DC)?
If you are flying into DC area (IAD/DCA/BWI) and are being hosted by a DC area member, please call your host and arrange for transportation. Most likely who ever is hosting you may be willing to pick you up from the airport. If that's not the case, please refer to instructions below.
Please refer to transportation instructions below for each airport
BWI:
Option 1: Amtrak has daily service to Union station starting at $12. Keep in mind that Acela Express may have a higher charge than other trains. Go to the schedules tab on the home page linked above and chose BWI (Baltimore –Thurgood Marshall Airport) to Union Station, Washington (WAS) for schedules on the day and time of your arrival.
Option 2: Bus-Metro There is bus service from BWI to Greenbelt Metro Station and from there to downtown Washington DC. Cost of this Bus-Metro trip is about $7.
If you are staying in a hotel in the DC area, Call your hotel and find out what the closest metro station is to your hotel and what line it is on to and then refer to the metro map.
IAD: At the arrivals door 4, Wash flyer bus leaves to West Falls Church metro station (orange line) as per the attached schedule. Fare is 10$ each way and 18$ round trip.
If you are staying in a hotel in the DC area, Call your hotel and find out what the closest metro station is to your hotel and what line it is on to and then refer to the metro map.
DCA: Regan National Airport has a metro station that is on both Blue and Orange lines.
If you are staying in a hotel in the DC area, Call your hotel and find out what the closest metro station is to your hotel and what line it is on to and then refer to the metro map.
(2) What is the best mode of transportation in the DC area and why?
Metro. I-495, also known as the Capital Beltway is one of the worst traffic hot spots or infamously known as the biggest parking lot in the DC area. I-66 connecting VA and DC is completely HOV (2 or more per vehicle). Finally Parking spots are tough to find are limited to maximum of 1 or 2 hours. One day parking spots are tough to find nearby and costs about 25$ a day.
(3) What is the fare on the metro and how should I pay?
Fare on the metro varies with the on boarding and off boarding stations. Metro has pre paid fare cards (DO NOT BUY SMART TRIP CARDS) vended by the automated systems and can be paid using Credit card or cash. One-way fare during time peak time from the suburbs to Union Station (Senate) or Capital South (House) is 5$.
You can get the exact fare from the wmata trip planner on Metro’s website. Charge your fare card with the money needed on the first time during the weekend to avoid standing in line during the weekday. On the three days, you will use the Metro at least 6 times. So please charge your fare card to 6 times the one-way fare between your stations.
(4) How early should I start every day?
Please do NOT underestimate the time it takes to get to the hill by Metro, then to the Situation room (if needed) and then your actual meeting. You will need to start 2 hours ahead of your meeting time from your hotel in the suburbs.
(5) Is there a hot line number where I can call for help?
Yes, IV will set up a hotline. 202-386-6250.
(6) What to say to the lawmakers in the meetings? How to put our point across?
A lot of this will be provided during brain storming sessions on Sunday. Please refer to the attached “How to Have a Successful Congressional Visit”
(7) Please tell me plans for the Sunday session?
Please Make sure you be there for the Sunday session. Sunday session will begin from 9:00 AM and will last till 9:00 PM. There will be several rounds of sessions lasting a couple of hours with breaks in between. You can attend any of these depending on your availability and arrival time. Use this day to also read the materials we would be providing you for meetings and ask us any questions you may have. You can meet others who would accompany you and brush up on talking points and plans for each meeting. We will also help you with some research on each lawmaker office. For example- position of the lawmaker office, voting record on past bills, issues championed in the past and present etc. Sunday sessions will be very helpful for getting fully prepared for next days of meetings.
(8) Please tell me plans for Monday and Tuesday? What are the agenda items other than meetings.
Monday, meeting with the legislative offices (9 am - 5pm)
Tuesday, meeting with legislative offices and a congressional reception in the evening (5:30 pm). So please book your flights back home on red eye flights Tuesday night or early morning flights on Wednesday.
(9) Where is the Congressional Reception?
Info will be provided in the situation room on Sunday.
(10) Can I invite my Lawmaker office staff/Lawmaker for the Congressional Reception?
Absolutely. We encourage members to invite the staffers and Lawmakers. If you already have good rapport with the office it would be very helpful. Please contact us and we will provide you with a formal invitation for the office.
(11) Can I ask my lawyer to contribute for this event? Can I ask my lawyer to post about this event on his/her website? Can I ask my Lawyer to inform his/other clients about this event?
Absolutely. Please go ahead and inform your lawyers about this event and request them to support this effort.
(12) Security Screenings
Entry to each of the buildings require standard security screening.

Just happen to see your signature file and found that you have a RD around end of June 2007 at TSC. I think we can use it as data reference to say TSC processing time will go to at least end of June 2007, from 04/30/2007. That is probably a good news for whose files in TSC.

Guys, My personal opinion. Pls do not fall for these risky trading tactics. I'm in no way against trading, but cautioning you whole heartedly..............................
"..........................oney you can't afford to lose"
All the very best.
Thanks Breddy and Jazzbythebay for iterating and re-iterating the risk factor.
I have repeated that in almost all my posts earlier in this thread to not think of this as a "GET RICH QUICK"scheme ........
Anyways good job at scaring away people guys hehehe;) kidding
Let me go back to the start
I recommend this style of trading for entrepreneurial kinds only who have the fire and will to learn .
Its risky but it is fulfilling when done in the right way.
It is easy to loose your shirt if you are not disciplined and stick by the rules (More on how to build your rules later)
GREED is the one number one enemy of PDTs.
Overcome greed and you will love to trade....you will love to convert your loosing trades into winners.
I welcome comments from traditional traders as they serve as a filter as well.
To say the least ...my dad who has been an active investor for years is still against DT or short term trading since he is a traditional investor.
No doubt you will make money there too but its like planting a seed and watching it grow every minute .(In a good , long and boring way I think)
Thanks

Appended to the Minimum wage bill was SA187 which amends SA112 sponsored by John Kerry and consponsored by Sununu, Snowe, Landrieu and Lieberman.
Senate Amendment SA 187 seems to have passed with unanimous consent. This is what it apparently contains among a lot of other stuff... Please correct me if I am wrong.

I paper filed EAD to AZ drop box on Mar 27th. I have not received receipt. Also check is not cashed.
I agree, it is taking too much time, compared to previous applications.
I am still waiting for check to be cashed or receipt.
I think, I made a mistake of paper filing. I should have done e-filing.

so far we have 32 votes on this poll. I thought the # of EB3 ROW in this forum is in hundreds. please guys advertise for this poll in other web sites and tell more people in the EB3 ROW category to vote. this will helps us all to have an idea about the # of existing PD in the pipeline.
Thank you
Thank you

I guess with the flood of application in - 485 stage could be stuck, do you think Cons Processing is a faster route ?

I just talk to USCIS customer rep..She said it might take beyond 90 days because of too many applications...if my case is still pending within 90 days then only i can go to local office it seems. But USCIS already took final decision on my case so i cannot go to office. But she asked me to try once by taking infopass appointment.
Same for me too!!! i got second e-mail today also. I got another e-mail on july 14th with same content. My EAD expires in 15 days and i am on EAD. I don't know What the hell is going on. I e-filed on May 8th.
